Okay ,the pictures of the items are still up on the previous page. I can't quite create an Ebay account so would anyone like to help me off with that? I've decided to finance my outstanding phone bill with the money i earn off the sales so please help me before my outgoing gets cut!!
Anyway, after KLKillahs had been spotted for this Indian talkshow regarding Blogging, I've been asked to join the panelist of bloggers on the show as well. I'm supposed to talk about whether blogging should be controlled as well as answer questions regarding my personal blog and KLKillahs.
I'm a little worried that i'm gonna be slammed for stuff i write on my blog but she assured me they wouldn't get too personal. She made mention of how she had heard my blog was famous for the Top 50 guys lists. I was a little freaked out because the last thing i need is for my mother to be hearing of how i have a Top 50 guys list on my blog. Jeepers.
As for my take on the topic, i've always felt that each of us bloggers has an acquired social responsibility towards our audience. What we write can affect our readers and sway them towards us or away from us. More importantly, anything that is stated should definitely not be of any harm to anyone else out there because there would be repercussions that'd follow i guess.
But that doesn't give anyone else the right to control what one might want to say. I believe strongly that if i am daring enough to put my opinions up on the Internet, i should be daring enough to deal with the repercussions. When i slammed an ex boyfriend once on the Internet, i had many people telling me that wasn't the right thing to do. Hell, some people were even cautious of being around me lest they ended up on my blog. But i dealt with it.
Similarly when NUS VIDIYAL reigned champions, there was so much uproar on my blog. And even then, i had to deal with it. The point is that if you feel like putting your opinions up in such a public sphere is going to invade your privacy, don't.
But if you, like a group of us, want to share your opinions and give people a good read, then you deal with it.
We all have a right to express ourselves but if we choose to use this right wrongly, then the repercussions would fall smack on our head regardless of anything.
The recording is on April 18th and i'd keep you guys updated on the goings. Please just pray that i don't get interrogated as to what i was thinking when i posted my list of Top 50 guys and girls. TROUBLE.
Anyhows, i've had two troubling days where a certain person has hassled me time and time again regarding my breakup. Its one thing to dump me and be out with someone else, and another to tell me that i deserve it and that i lost him because of my own faults.
For a moment, i did question it. Did i deserve it because i wanted space? Does that give you a right to leave me just because you felt i gave you too much space?
Then i figure, you're really just trying to mess with my mind. And i'm not gonna let you win..
