Do you love yourself?
Do you really love yourself sans the makeup,the false pretenses, the boyfriend, the friends,the money, the work, the success, the family, the hobbies, the talents, the strengths and the weakness?
Do you love yourself enough to do the things that make YOU happy? Do you love yourself enough to be able to shrug off everyone else's opinions and insights to go with YOUR gut feeling?
Do you love yourself enough to constantly search for your inner strength and not beat yourself up about the silly things or what OTHERS deem as your weaknesses?
Most women don't. We constantly beat ourselves up over issues that certainly aren't our fault. We constantly "go with the flow" and allow ourselves to be thrown about.
And most often, that becomes our biggest bane. Not allowing us to actually be who we want to be. Constantly finding excuses for other people and often doubting our own capabilities.
I've always been taught, since i was a young girl, to hold my head up high and be proud of who i was. Because I am who i am regardless of what you think of me. I could become a pauper overnight, your opinions of me could turn from Queen to Slut in a second, I could lose my eyesight even, but my pride, is never lost and is constantly a part of me.
I wish though,that YOU come to realise, you're not just a girl, or just any other girl. You are a woman, a beautiful one,capable of so much.
This goes out to more than one YOUS out there. Over the last two weeks, i've heard of so many beautiful women breaking down or feeling themselves caught between situations. You are beautiful and have all rights to live your life the way you want to.
Never can. Never will. Can't hold us down..
