::ex boyfriends and contact

Am i the only one in the world who believes that exes should burn and rot in hell?? This is by the way an extremely biased and one sided perspective that all my ex boyfriends and previous love interests should ignore. Yes, i mean it.
Of late, I've had conversations with friends who seem to be completely cool with keeping close contact with their ex boyfriends so much so as to be confiding in them about their current life stories.
I think thats hilarious. Perhaps i'm old school but ex boyfriends should DIE DIE DIE. As much as i probably would feign a smile and say, "I'm happy for you", deep inside all i want to do is smack you because you don't deserve any happiness for messing around with me.
Ok, that doesn't mean i hate all my ex boyfriends. No, honestly, i don't even hate any of them, cos i get over these things. I just do not understand why anyone would actually keep close contact with their ex boyfriends. And how can you actually bring yourself to be happy for someone whom you POTENTIALLY could have ended up with?
Maybe i am just not getting it la. Or maybe i don't want to. Ugh..
Please don't try to advise me on keeping good and close ties with my ex boyfriends. As far as i'm concerned they are only for exchanging pleasantries and for completely bitching about!
