::exam fever eh?
1:06 a.m. - 2006-11-27
I somehow always have this tendency of falling insanely sick during my exam.
It isn't because i study really hard.
It isn't because i am stressed
I just don't know why.
Before my PSLE i remember this horrible cough i had that lasted all the way till my exams ended. I was transported between doctors and ended up in KK to get an inhaler cos i was suspected of having asthma!
Then just before my O levels, my eyes suddenly became swollen! I went to school looking like i was completely punched on one of my eyes and my Literature teacher calls my mother and insists i am brought to a doctor before i go blind Once again, it only lasted till my exams ended.
Then i remember my horrendous infection just before my A levels that left me cowering in my sofa with a horrible tummyache, constipation, sore throat, fever and the works. Funnily, it didn't even with that damned injection that the Doc in Grace Clinic gives me.(i am afraid of injections. YES i know i've undergone worst surgery but it just PERTURBS me that someone would poke something that sharp into you! OUCH!). Back to the point, my sickness only left after my exams.
And now, my lymph nodes are swollen, my throat(that inner tongue thingy) is swollen till something is dangling from it(gross ah!), my ears are completely blocked, my fever is on-off, my nose is blocked and i am having difficulty swallowing food! Even after 1 injection(which I was pretty much yanked into getting my mother and sister who show NO remorse for the fact that i'm afraid of injections*yes i know its for my sake,but let me RANT*) and like a truckload of medication, i still feel delirious and like there's this horrible weight put on my neck(the swellings HURT).
In short, this entry was written solely to garner all the attention and sympathy possible. And if you ever meet my examiners, tell them that i was sick before my exams so that they'd be kind in marking my papers.
Nights and Good Luck to all those sitting for their Exams and who have completed their exams and are laughing at the rest of us. Grr.
