Today was one of them feel good days. Those days when your phone stops its possessed behaviour and your hair sits well. The day when you don't come late and you get to the place you need without any hassles.
It was a nice and breezy day. I like such days.
So Puva was my jolly good assistant as i went to purchase Thanesh's gift. Thankfully, i know that boy long enough for me to know what he wears, or rather what he DOESN'T wear. So it was not much of an issue getting him nice things, just that its really weird when someone as skinny as him has broad shoulders. Oh well.
Anyhow in the midst of shopping with Puva and meeting Thanesh, the buddy and myself decided to check out the National Library.
I really don't quite like the new library. It looks too "new" and "techie". I liked the regal and grand ambience of the old library. That felt like a LIBRRRRRAAARRRRY. This is just a library.
Sigh.
So we settled down at the lowest level since the rest require you to put your things at a locker and I was NOT about to let some machine swallow all my coins.
And we came across lots and lots of interesting books. One of them was the quotable quotes from movies. They were mainly quotes about love and it was really a pretty interesting read. I came across one that i quite like..
"They're either married or gay. And if they're not gay, they've just broken up with the most wonderful woman in the world, or they've just broken up with a bitch who looks exactly like me. They're in transition from a monogamous relationship and they need more space. Or they're tired of space, but they just can't commit. Or they want to commit, but they're afraid to get close. They want to get close, you don't want to get near them.
Hmmm...
I'll post the funny pictures of Thanesh's "pseudo-birthday" celebration tomorrow or rather later.
