Happy Labour Day Folks
My mummy is power la. Hope you guys understand this.
Mummy: Labour Day Athuvum, Enakku Kadaiyilirinthu Sappida Ethavchu Vaangirukalamthaaney!
(translated: its labour day, could have bought your mummy something to eat right?)
1st Sis and Me: No! Its not Mothers Day Amma, its LABOUR DAY!
Mummy: NAAN LABOUR-KU POITHAANEY UNGALEY PETHEN!!
I've gotten highlights in my hair. I'm someone who has had black hair all my life. Like really really really BLACK hair. Never dyed it('cept for the one time my first sister attempted to dye it for me and yet it still looked BLACK). And i finally overcame it and got highlights. They aren't very outstanding or obvious, but they will certainly do.
For those of you who care, my outgoing and incoming have both been cut. So i'm using a prepaid card for now, until I decide its worth it to pay my bill. I think its time for me to watch my bill and maintain on a prepaid card till i get a stint working somewhere.
If you want my number, please message me on msn. The other number is currently DEFUNCT(not for long).

Things that Perturb Me
You know that something is seriously wrong when you get screened for sitting down below your block and eating ice cream.
Yes. SCREENED. At the grand age of 20(beyond getting screened for sitting below blocks, smoking, drinking, clubbing in most places, being a minor and whatever other things that you cannot do below the age of 20), i got screened. And that too for eating ice cream.
And guess who i was with? My sister(whose age shall be left out of this whole conversation, but certainly older than me. much. :P). Yes two sisters got screened for sitting down and eating ice-cream.
An Indian policeman and a Chinese policewoman approached us and asked for our ics and even checked our handphone serial codes to make sure they weren't stolen. Growls and mutters.
Thing is, at some point the Indian policeman and i found out we knew each other and i don't know if he felt a bit paiseh screening two girls who cannot actually be up to anything much below a void deck and then realise he knows one of them or whether he was feeling a sense of glee that he was making us feel very stupid for eating ice cream below our block.
All we wanted was fresh air!
And you guys want to know who the policeman was?
Eat your hearts out by Clicking Here*link removed to protect policeman's identity?* Yes! That was the policeman that made me feel like an idiot pseudo criminal! I am really hoping its protocol on his part so i won't blame him!
But still, i am PERTURBED!

I played in the rain yesterday. Not the walk in the rain kind. The play. I danced and skipped and hopped and sang in the rain. I didn't care that my make-up was going to run or my dress was going to get all stuck on me.
I didn't care for the gazillion eyes that stared at me in disbelief. I wanted to feel the rain and feel the rain i did.
I washed it all away. The inadequacies, the pain, the fights, the sorrow, the fears, the insecurities. Everything. I even washed my tears away in the rain.
Cos when you're all drenched, no one's going to care if you're crying or not right?
It was so therapeutic to dance like that. It was perfect. The rain beat down on me so hard and i was almost going to slip off my heels. There people were, telling me I was out of my mind.
And you know what?
For a moment, I really was.
